Oh man I get so excited when you post! And so I will comment accordingly:

2. OH YAY NEW RECS. I have a shitload more to read but YAY NEW RECS.

3. Hoooooly noodles a writing challenge. I haven't written fic in months so this... well, I'm currently waiting for an online magazine to tell me whether I'm hired or not, so we'll see where it goes from there.

And, lastly: BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I completely forgot to greet you in the last e-mail I sent you, I apologize. But I hope you still had a great one that made you an even more awesome person than you were pre-birthday!

I think this is the first year they've done it at this con - it's not very old, this is only its 3rd year. I think they did it largely to promote the new IDW series that's going on.

Needless to say, if we ever managed to meet irl I suspect shenanigans would ensue.
