Oh, man, today was hella stressful. My brother commandeered me to drive him around Oakland and Emeryville so he could pick up stuff to furnish his pad in Oaktown. I finished watching two shows last night- both were quite good, and here's some thoughts on them:

Slowpoke here- Baccano! was licensed, which I'm very happy about. The subs on the streaming episode they've put up look very good, and with any luck they get it on TV in one form or another. I just pray that this all makes the likelihood of a second season that much more. What separates this from Gurren-Lagann is that while I would love a sequel/ ( Read more... )

Today has been made of win and good. I got lunch downtown for the first time in ages- Telegraph has an oddly calming effect on me, just weird considering the number of unsettling/homeless people in that area.
