The weather today was beautiful.

The dentist was okay. There was pain involved and not much waiting, but both were expected and the pain was deserved.

Yesterday I finished Peace Under Heaven and dove into The Tale of Genji. Genji is more interesting than I thought it would be. I mean, I think it's good that I'm reading it for a class because I'll get the benefit of the discussion, but also it is, so far, a very entertaining book.
