Sweeeeeeeet

I got myself a purty HP laptop a few months ago. My old Dell was just..too old.

Whatever happened to the Dell guy anyway? Hmm Maybe he's hanging out with the Noid from Domino's.

Ewww, HP. I've had too many bad experiences with HP. ;-) I knew this one was going to be a Dell a long time before I even entered the market. I just knew.

I actually found some stuff on the Dell Dude while looking for this picture. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Curtis_(actor)

You know, I wish you'd reconsider. I'm sorry if I offended you.

Congrats on getting the Dell man!

PS: I hope I didn't hack you off by insisting you should try that dictionary. I was just worried you wouldn't even give it a chance. I still say it could be useful to have on your computer, but I feel like I was being too pushy about it now.

Thanks!

Hacked off? Of course not. :-) It's practically impossible to accidentally offend me (and not easy to do it even when trying). I tried it out, and you're right. It's actually quite useful. It has built-in morphological analyses that seem to be pretty well on the money. Perseus, even when it works, is slower than heck. (And yay! It appears to be fixed now. But I'll still use this thing for quick morphologies instead of relying so much on Perseus's morph tool.) This doesn't know Agnes, but it does know Paulus.

I've never been too pleased with Dell's customer service in the 2 years I owned one, but perhaps things have changed. Hope it performs well for ya, man!

I hear such conflicting reports, about everything! My dad says Dells are all they buy at work and they've been really pleased with their service department. But I guess most people will treat you right when you're the U.S. government. :-p

hehehe...Fair enough. I know of several people who've had good experiences with them (the company my dad works for and the ATF both only use Dell computers, though the latter is more due to a contractual relationship with Dell, as I recall).

I got a gateway for Christmas from my mom. It was a better deal than the dell she was looking at. I like mine a lot. I also have an HP and a Sony here at the house. We just sold 2 Sony's on ebay because we needed the money for other things. They were cool cause they were tiny and nice to take along to school.
