I cannot get the spell-check for my desktop's Word to work. I activate it, and it says it's complete, despite the fact that I've typed 'gbfdmosihgbilb.' I've gone into the menu, and it seems to think that spell-check is on. I can get it to check grammar (inasmuch as Word does that), but it refuses to recognize when I misspell a word. Jeebus. Indiana University actually closed. As one of my friend's friends put it, Hell has indeed frozen over.

I was impressed. I think that sums it up pretty well. My friends list is full of posts going into more elaborate detail, so I won't add another page. But I feel inspired.

It seems that John Quincy Adams kept an alligator (or maybe two?) in the White House bathroom. I can't help but wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that a few states have (or have had) laws specifically prohibiting the keeping of an alligator in the bathtub. The sink was fixed a couple days ago, and the garbage disposal was fixed today. Our front doorknob also broke when the maintenance guy showed up. I had to unscrew the doorknob itself and manually pull the latch back. He fixed that too, but I wasn't even really surprised. It'll be nice to get out of here come summer.

It seems that that clog is even worse than I thought, and has spawned other problems as well. First, the standing water that's been in there for about a week has weakened the garbage disposal, so that the mechanism itself is leaking water and rotting. Not mine, thankfully. The automotive curse hasn't progressed that far; it still seems to require other vehicles to fuck up any car that we own. But I think we may have passed the curse on to my dad. I used my currently-unlimited power as the HST of Indy to administratively pass the game's charter, thus limiting my currently-unlimited power. Slightly ironic, but definitely for the best. Actually, I don't even think it will change the way I do things.

Occasionally I have to remind myself that being a 6-year-old character does not mean I should start browsing Morality Paths. Still... I love me some Scorched Heart.
