Yay, pictures~! No fair cheating and going out of order - where's AX? =P
I'm really looking forward to seeing your 365 pictures. Ones so far are amazing~ And hey, food pictures are always yum. One of my friends took a picture of her lunch every day for a week. If I did that it would just be pictures of sandwiches. Boring~
Hey, that reminds me, any opinion about Fujifilm cameras? I'm thinking of getting a better low-light point-and-shoot and people have good things to say about them. I'm looking at the F70EXR, or a similar model that has less amazing zoom, but is much much smaller. (You know me. If it doesn't fit in my pocket, I don't want any part of it.)
I've been out of order - I still don't have the full Fanime set up yet either.
There are only two... And two more in the queue. And two more in film cameras.
Not having a real compact camera is going to be a problem. I miss my pocket-sized one. My most portable camera is my Holga, and that's pretty bulky. But I'd need to go through 30-50 rolls of film before buying a compact digital would be cheaper.
My general experience with digital cameras, is stay far away from Kodak, HP, and anything < $130. And I've been admittedly unimpressed with Nikon's more compact cameras. I think when I was shopping for my compact camera ~4years ago, the brands of choice were: Canon, Fuji, Panasonic
( ... )
Surprisingly enough, I actually understood that for the most part. I got my little Nikon for less than $300 including the memory card and it's served me well this last year-and-a-half or so that I've owned it. But then, Nikon seems to try to be the "everyman's" camera so maybe it doesn't have enough features for someone who knows what they're doing? ^_^; Having a camera that fits in your pocket is really nice for 365.
The Fuji EXR and one other non-EXR one...(number escapes me) stack up pretty well, slight price difference and a little bigger but twice as much optical zoom on the EXR. And I do loves me some zoom. I will have to check out their aperture science (ha, ha) though. I bet the EXR does better, the other one has a much smaller, non-extending lens, but then, what do I know? Haha~ Thank you for the help~~~ I will go check out that website.
Also, yeah! Looking forward to Fanime pictures also^^ Get to it! >O!
