By this time, the mirror has had more than enough of seeing those who failed to defeat their opponent disappear from off the field. Where had they gone and what had happened to them? He had been most concerned for those he cared for. Akihiko-senpai was gone, Mitsuru-senpai was gone, and there had been nothing he could do about it. Panic was not a good ally when it came to battle.

And now the White Pawn had been forced to move, to fight against the Black Pawn waiting in the square he was to take. The mirror held onto his sword with both hands, reluctant, and faced the Prince. He had seen what Seeu was capable of in Moves 38 and 42.

All Minato knew was that he did not want to disappear, and he had to do everything he could to prevent it.

Seeu isn't sure what to expect from the mirror. He's won all of the fights that he's been in so far. However this person isn't someone he's familiar with and he's been too busy trying to spot Yujinn in the crowd.

The red headed prince frowns when he realizes he can't make out Yujinn. Seeu stands there letting the Lunar Mercury's blade shift like cloth in the wind.

Since Seeu had been aloof, distracted, and nonchalant, it made the mirror even more reluctant to fight, though he knew just how much he needed to win this. The Twins were watching, the Queen was probably watching, and perhaps disappearing off the field wouldn't be so bad as being erased out of existence.

"U-um, I think... I think we're supposed to fight right now, I mean, even if we don't want to. I... I don't want to fight you if you're not even looking at me or... anything like that. It's... kind of not fair."

Who was this person at all besides someone that had single-handedly brought down two of his teammates? Minato had done his own share of spying, but there had been so many residents around that it was hard to watch all of them.

He takes a deep breath and solidifies the blade of the Lunar Mercury so it doesn't flap in the wind. Seeu looks at his opponent then frowns. Why did they have to be battles with people he didn't hate?

"You're being generous. Assuming that I can't defend myself..Even if I'm not looking at you."

The mirror had kept an eye on that weapon, glad that he brought his own sword with him just in case.

"I guess so, but I didn't mean it like that either, like you couldn't defend yourself since I know you can. It's just... really not fair. I don't know. I don't want to hurt anyone, I really don't."

Minato was becoming more anxious as he thought he could feel more eyes watching them. This was their move, and no one else could do so until this battle had been decided.

"Neither do I. Let's try to finish this fast. I don't' know what happens to those who disappear but I'd rather send you or be sent with as much of myself intact. How do you feel about a draw?"

Minato tilted his head in thought.

"A draw...? That'd be okay with me, but I... I don't know if that's allowed, is it? I don't want to disappear, I don't know where anyone goes. That... sort of means you'll have to disappear instead, but..."

It was rather awkward as the mirror had conflicting feelings. No, he didn't want to hurt anyone, and yet the only way to keep from disappearing was to do just that.

"Um... you can try to attack me, I guess. I'll... go from there."

"So long as we fight I don't think there are any rules. All right.'

Seeu advanced on Minato, he let the blade of the Lunar Mercury disappear Leaving him only the pole part of the scythe. He jabs for Minato's face.

Minato had invited the attack, but it was still frightening to be attacked at all in any way. But it was all he needed to be incited to fight.

He leaped back and dropped his sword, grabbing his Evoker from his holster, and shot himself in the head to summon a Persona, Orpheus Telos. The Persona appeared and used a powerful electric spell, Thunder Reign backed by Elec Amp and Elec Boost, to send a huge surge of electricity toward the prince.

The prince hadn't been ready for anything of that proportion. Electricity shoots through him to the point his eyes roll back. Seeu drops like a roc when it stops the Lunar Mercury goes out with a fwoomp scattering like dust.

A leg twitch serves a reminder that he's alive.

What did he just do.

He paled as he lowered his Evoker and saw the damage he had done. If not for that twitch, Minato might have completely lost it.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry! I didn't... It wasn't... I'm sorry!"

But before he could switch Personae to summon one with a healing spell, the Prince had been far too immobilized and incapacitated, and disappeared off the field.

Just because she's the piece advancing doesn't mean there won't be a fight. She is as familiar with battle as she is with chess. What she needs is an advantage. Rather than simply stepping in a diagonal from her square to the one occupied by the chalk-white, yellow-eyed boy, she disappears, fading gently into nothing, and reappears behind him, close enough for him to feel her breath on his neck.

She has a gun, of course.
