This is so poignant and provocative. You have a beautiful way with words and captured this in such an awesome way.

These lines stood out to me because it was just so heart breaking

and your life becomes his life
but his life never becomes yours
and he leaves you
says,
i have to go and find my world.

You ask the world,
why did he leave?
And the world says,
you were just an island,
for he, a continent, could never fit inside you.
