I'm in LA, packing for my next journey. Tomorrow morning I leave for Egypt to see the total eclipse of the sun there on March 29th (and the pyramids and all that other Egypt stuff). I'll be in Egypt for 2 weeks, and then I go to Israel and Palestine for another 2 weeks

For my last night in New Orleans, I went to Room 14. Room 14 is on the third floor of St. Mary of the Angels school where a good part of Common Ground is headquartered and where hundreds of volunteers are staying. It is in the upper 9th ward and a 15 minute walk from where the levee broke

I led a work crew to do Effective Microbe spraying 2 days ago. I've been here a week which makes me a veteran. We sprayed 6 houses, waving our magic wands of EM like Harry Potter fighting the Black Mold. Actually, all suited up, we looked a lot like the Ghostbusters

More remediation and walking the streets today... A couple was so happy with the remediation, they insisted on paying me, just so I could get dinner or something. After turning them down several times, I gave in and took the money just to make them feel better

Went to the lower 9th ward for the first time today. It is hard to describe just how crazy it really is. It felt like the end of civilization, and not in a happy way... I spent the morning spraying "effective microbes" inside of trashed houses, preparing them for the gutting crew
