Oh, it's just me overreacting to stuff (as usual, for me :D) but after over a year of hiding from all comms and other form of fic archiving (other than my own wee, safe lj), I finally crept out of my corner and archived a fic this week. It's only been up for a couple of days and already what I was always so nervous about has happened. I love hearing anyone's ideas or opinions and receiving any concrit which might help me to improve my writing (cos, most of the time it badly needs it! :D), but immature, childish insults like the ones contained within the anon review I read today don't ever sit very well with me. But I know that I just need to stop taking stuff like that so personally. What makes it seem worse to me, is that because the comment is on the collaborated fic, it feels as if I'm not the only person they're intentionally insulting

No it's ok. You can ramble all you want with me. You are not overreacting. And your pieces don't badly need the concrit, they are amazing the way they are.

Don't take that person's comment to heart. They don't know good fic when they see it, and they don't even have the courage to log in or whatever.

The collab fic (the Quidditch one with dracofiend?) is probably amazing.

You are an amazing person and fic writer, whenever i read your stuff, and automatic smile (or tear, depending) is on my face. There are more people out there that enjoy your work than the few that don't. :D
