I rewatched 'Lucifer is Rising' a little while ago and realized how much I freakin' hate Ruby (and how awkward looking and not very pretty Lilith was IMO). I actually really liked her in S3, but in S4 she got on my nerves. It might have been the new route taken or because I liked Katie more. But I'm asking YOU flist...

I liked Ruby in the beginnings, her snark, the question of did she or didn't she know about Dean's deal.

And yeah, I prefer Katie to Genevieve.

I have never been shy about saying how much I disliked Genevieve as Ruby. I absolutely LOVED Ruby in S3, she had attitude and snark and she didn't take shit from anyone, and even Kripke tried to explain the difference in S3 Ruby vs S4 being that she changed from her trip in Hell, but that doesn't excuse the fact that I'm pretty sure Genevieve didn't prepare for the role.

SIGH. IT MAKES ME SAD BCUZ I USED TO LOVE RUBY SO MUCH. I'm thinking Sam and Ruby would have never hooked up if it was KatieRuby. So a lot of people would hate her less. (maybe, idk)

I didn't start liking Ruby until near the end of S3 so I guess I liked Katie's Ruby a bit but mostly Genevieve's. Yep.

It made no sense for appropriately aged slutty Lilith to be unattractive like she was. She was a very powerful demon - she could have jumped into any body she wanted and she chooses the girl with the bad skin and alien eyes? I don't think so.
