Tomorrow is going to be my last day in Cairo, but I am supposed to be working on a paper right now so I figured I would do a goodbye post to my time in Cairo, Egypt instead.
Thanks! I like it too :). AUC has a huge study abroad population, I'd say like 20%? Maybe 15. But it's a lot. So much so that unfortunately it's segregated into rich Egyptians vs. poor American college students. But shit happens, right?
I don't have a very solid short or medium term career idea, but in the long term I want to be a foreign service officer with the State Department. When I first got here I kind of reconsidered it but now at the end of everything I still think it is something I would enjoy!

Cairo seems to be quite exciting. The culture, the language and so on. :D
It's a good thing that you enjoyed it and that you've learned a lot. Did you have some kind fellow students?
