KFC has been our cheap and cheerful salvation many times when on foreign places. You just need familiar sometimes when the local pickings are sparse.
The Wagner thing looks like a huge set-up farse to me. Not sure what's up with that but it seems like a good distraction tactic in which the Russians hoped to force Ukraine into moves which would debilitate them.
I have long been puzzled by how Wagner seems to exist in parallel to the actual Russian army and wondered how that was working in terms of authority. I guess we found out! Will be interesting to see how this unfolds as his troops are probably used to getting paid and it doesn't seem likely that they will placidly join the ranks of the regular enlisted.

I'm almost disappointed. Wagner rule would be much worse than Putin's but on the other hand, it would draw them both out of Ukraine.
I'm still holding out hope that the Wagner fiefdoms in Syria and Africa will become more detached from the motherland.
