I don't even know how I feel right now. I was so upset seeing Blaine being worn down and trained by Kurt and I knew he wouldn't last the way he was going but part of me still doesn't want Kurt dead. I am happy that Blaine finally has some support though.

Still on the edge of my seat.

I'm sorry for confusing your emotions, honey! *hug* Blaine when he was that drained and on edge was... yeah. Poor Blaine -- he honestly has no idea how to deal with what's happening to him, and was only doing the best he could. (Perfect use of the word 'trained', though. Totally accurate.) I'm glad you're happy to see him getting some support, even if the idea of their plan isn't making you the happiest. There is still a ways left to go. ;)

Thank you so much, I'm so glad you're enjoying!

Dr. Williams: I barely know you, and will miss you. *stiff upper lip*

I refuse to get attached.

I'm trying not to get attached.

Fuck it, I'm attached.

I loved the development on the dream front too, that it was Blaine dictating the dreams. In hindsight, it's painfully powerful that before he saw Kurt's true nature, he saw a softer Kurt. Now all he sees is sex, death, and violence. The horror that he's experiencing permeates everything, and dreams are just one way that he should be able to reconcile those fears, but he can't. It really also serves as a striking loss of Blaine's ability to trust other people, and acknowledgement of his own fragility and dwindling self control. I really feel that if they illustrate anything at all (aside from unf), it's that Blaine is not only capable of giving into Kurt, but that he suspects that he's going to ( ... )

I think that Blaine very much felt that he had to let Kurt know -- let SOMEONE know -- that he didn't cause another person's death on purpose last chapter. He had NO ONE else to tell at that point other than Kurt; other than the person threatening him with violence and pain. Plus, he'd been severely unsettled by Kurt's intentional absence, I think. It really is a very good thing that Amita is on the scene, otherwise I think that Blaine would start to go a bit mad. And I'm glad you're enjoying Kurt in all his relentlesssness.

I loved the development on the dream front too, that it was Blaine dictating the dreams. <--- I AM SO GLAD YOU LIKED THIS!! :D Everyone had so many theories and ideas, so I was admittedly a little bit wary of what people would think of the nature of the dreams. For me, I know, the idea that while there is some essence of Kurt that has wormed its way into Blaine's mind, in the end? Blaine's head is doing this to himself. How incredibly self-destructive. I love the way you highlight the fact that Blaine *thinks he ( ... )

Okay, I'm SO sorry for the long wait on this response!! Especially since this comment quite literally MADE ME GRIN LIKE A FIEND when you left it, and I've come back and read it with stars in my eyes a few times since then. I had a pretty massive paper due this morning, and it made it impossible to respond to comments. :( BUT HERE I AM NOW! Thank you for waiting!!

First of all, that gif!!! And that sentiment, oh my goodness. I love how the second I introduce an OC, everyone assumes I will brutally murder them. (Although, I suppose considering the content of this particular story I should not be surprised, ha! XD) I'm so glad that you like her so far, though! Amita is very fun to write. *nodnod*

God, I'm coming out to you as an obsessive stalker of this fic. I promise that I'm a perfectly lovely, and otherwise completely respectable person. <--- I think you're COMPLETELY lovely, bb, and I love that you were so excited!! Aha, I don't know what time zone you're in, but I'm on the West coast if that impacts your idea of what 'I'll update ( ... )

And so the counterattack begins...Somehow, I get the feeling that Dr. Amita Williams is going to end up being part of the collateral damage.

Blaine sweetheart, I hope you realize that by trying to fight back (I say "trying" because I doubt you will succeed), you are just going to make Kurt want you more. Kurt loves challenges and he will make you his. Your stubbornness is one of the things he loves most about you ( ... )

First of all, THANK YOU so very much for reading and for your lovely comment! Apologies for the long wait time on a response; I had a big paper due this week, and it sadly took up loads of time to write. Thank you for your patience!

I adore the way that you phrase your initial reaction in terms of a military response: it feels entirely appropriate and perfect to the situation, because this IS such a life-or-death situation. Wonderfully phrased!! Also, I love the fact that you phrase it so specifically as 'trying to fight back', because I think that says so much about the relationship between Kurt and Blaine tht we've seen so far.

you are just going to make Kurt want you more. Kurt loves challenges and he will make you his. Your stubbornness is one of the things he loves most about you. <-- this whole paragraph is just perfect. I'm so pleased that Kurt's determination is coming across in such a powerful way. And aha, mmmm. <3 Blaine definitely has a very narrow perspective of what Kurt wants from him, that's for sure ( ... )
