Ok, well I live, too, but the subject line refers to my little green car. I successfully replaced her battery yesterday. Sadly, I didn't have time to get her inspected, so now we're crossing our fingers and hoping to get that done tomorrow or Tuesday. Her right front wheel is still making this weird wind up humming/scraping noise which is

Weirdly warped brake rotor, perhaps. Might want to check that before sending someone you like off to drive it long distance.

Definitely. She's getting inspected tomorrow so I'm hoping they'll see if something is wrong. Otherwise, I'll take it in to be sure.

Completely uneventful! A tiny bit of acid spillage on my arm, but I just tossed baking soda on it and then washed it thoroughly and seem to have no ill effects. :)
