So maybe the car was on the low end of its' price range because it needed a largish repair. Repair done. Next up, body shop for some more running up the costs. Mini update of the week: looking for a used car in the current state of cars bites. But with big teen working and smaller teen doing a dual enrollment class at the local college and mom and dad occasionally needing to go to the office or take care of life, the time has come to get an additional one. Mom is over her bout of Covid, she said a couple nights felt very touch and go, but at this point she seems fully recovered and is back to her normal schedule. The one person coming to the gathering with Covid infected 4 people that I know of. Grrr, this thing is still out there! Just happy she had a case on the shorter side. Little update: Mom has covid and felt bad enough to go to the hospital. They say no pneumonia, and gave her some scripts for antivirals and something to break up the congestion. She hopes she is past the worst of it, and I really hope that is so. On to the story ( Read more... ) -

Ok, so maybe a few non RP comments. Today being Mother's Day and all, I dragged the family to the Renaissance Festival. Faire food was consumed, shows were watched, shops visited and some purchases made. A brief explanation. I was invited to a Pathfinder 2e Agents of Edgewatch RPG late last year to stand in for a player who was no longer able to make the particular session. This one time at Band Club...
So the 5th graders have an exciting opportunity! They do after school "clubs" throughout the year - previously things like additional fun art projects, PE related activities, a gaming club - things like that.
