Today we had to euthanize the Basenji, Zeebeedee. The owner was really sad. There wasn't much other than a cat castration. I had to walk around this dog Max for like half an hour because he was really loud and his owner just left him there. I had to leave before they were doing the euthanization but we left presents. Today Oscar left today. It was a pretty quiet day at first but then we saw the Basenji with stomach problems got much worse. She operated for most of the day and put him in his cage. We got him last night but she didn't realize how bad the problem was.

Today when I got in there were 4 ragdoll kittens. They all had problems, they weren't healthy. 2 of them had heart problems one has something I can't pronounce and i don't remember what the other one had wrong. We did one of the castrations and the spays. One of the girls with the heart problem was pretty loopy for a while but I think she came out

Today was my first day at Katherine's Vet Clinic. It was REALLY fun! I got there at 10am and only Hannah was there. I did a lot of sterilizing of clothes. I built a bookcase. Did some other meanial work. I watched a cat be spayed. I hadn't eaten since 8am and itw as like 1:30pm when it happened so I nearly fainted. I guess the time just flew by. I ( Read more... )

Today we went to see Indiana Jones at the movie theatre in Mitcham. Chop tops.

Today I went with Uncle Trevor to the University. We went to orthopedic rounds at the university. It was pretty interesting, they were Adverse Events, "Stuff-Ups". Today I went and explored CORe, it's a veterinary research center. It was really interesting. I met John Field and he showed me how to work the MRI machine and I got an MRI of my knee to see how it worked. They do some really interesting research. Today I went and met Kylie. It was really nice and fun. She's really friendly, I like her a lot. We got there and she showed us her guitars and stuff and then we sat down and had tea and cookies and talked about the musical and stuff. Today I went around the Adelaide Zoo and the Botanical Gardens. It was really fun. There were lots of really cool animals but it made me so sad to see them all in cages.
