*waves tentatively, bringing fic*

First, I'd like to thank everyone for their good wishes concerning my mum. We're still waiting for test results and hoping for the best. The new pain medication is working quite well, and the physiotherapy gives her some temporary relief ( Read more... )

Oh, the angst! I love how you just feed it to us in pieces, first Sam's perspective, then Dean's, and finally John's where we can put it altogether. Long or not, it's a beautiful fic. Thanks for sharing. :)

I'm so glad they were able to find effective pain meds for your mom, and hope you get some positive news from the tests. And congrats on your virus-free computer! :)

Thanks! I liked the idea of setting up the fic with Sam's limited POV, then gradually letting the full story out through Dean and John's thoughts.

I was visiting with Mum today - not a good day today, but she was showing signs of improvement by the evening.

Oh Winchesters... They talk at each other, but they don't really communicate that well, do they?

It's great to read a new fic from you! This was wonderful. *g*

Thank you! I do love to explore what they can't say to each other. John, especially. *g*

Hey, kiddo! Good to see you online. Glad they found good meds for your mum, and here's hoping the results are positive ones.

This was great -- well-knitted, gorgeous detail. Like how you drew on an earlier fic. Miss Piggy, indeed.

Thank you! I'm so sorry I've been AWOL for so long. The meds are working well, but Mum is very easily tired. She's coming round the idea of a wheelchair, to allow her to get out of the house a little.

Miss Piggy - I couldn't resist referencing that other wee fic. At least it wasn't the Blue Peter badge.

Don't be sorry -- we all understand. At least it sounds like your mum's on the mend, which is a result we all hoped for.

No, a BP badge reference would've had me spitting at my office monitor. Then I'd have to explain it to students and my youngest who was at work with me. So, thanks for that.
