Spunky, silly, and serious - these are my favourite fictional girls. They navigate their coming of age with a combination of bravado, wit and awkwardness. Gah! Another great list (but no Anne Shirley?).

I loooove Little Miss Sunshine and her inappropriate dance moves. Lisa Simpson is also an idol of mine, along with her brother Bart.

*sniff* I love the Book Thief so much. And that poor little Firefly girl *sniffles more*

I want to see Little Miss Sunshine again. If I ever have a daughter, I would love for her to be like Olive.

Anne with an E will be in the next "Petticoat' category. I had too many girls, so I spread them out.
