Why do I bother?

What has Livejournal done for me? I rarely post anymore anyway. It's driven me into friends-only journaling for so long, because of the insane assholes who live in my area and have threatened me in the past. And God forbid I click on a highlighted community and attempt to give my opinion even though the majority of people posting there are

I'm disappointed! If I'm in any way part of this decision, I'm really sorry, but I did enjoy being exposed to your views and those of your friends here.

Of course it's not you. I've enjoyed discussing things with you and getting the viewpoint of the other side. But most people on this site are not capable of that, and after tonight it could not be more clear. It's insane the amount of bullying I have seen on this "community" over the past five or six years, mainly towards right-wing views, and I am not happy with it. And the bigwigs at LJ seem unconcerned with any of it.

I'd rather blog at Townhall.com, where my opinions are appreciated and not jumped on by bullies behind an anonymous screen name.

I'll send you my other blog link soon, but again, I have enjoyed reading your LJ :-)

Yeah, maybe I'll start some kind of blog thing on Facebook. I have some ideas for numerous blogs....I have a personal one elsewhere, but I also want to start a political one AND a photoblog. The problem is I have no time to even start those, let alone keep up with them!! I'll let you know and send you the link :-)
