Writing update

I haven't posted a writing update in quite a while. This is mostly because I've hardly done any writing. The start of the semester has been crazy as usual, and I'm feeling like I should be editing my novel rather than write new material, but I'm procrastinating because I know what a huge job it's going to be and how it will take over my life once ( Read more... )

If you started with The Greater Trumps, possibly the best next one to read would be The Place of the Lion, which is the Williams novel that C.S. Lewis read first.

The cabaret sounds like a lot of fun.

And re Williams, yeah, what he said. If you decide you don't like him, that's fine. The Burrahobbits group in the Midwest used to wear buttons to Mythcon that were the universal cross-out sign (the circle with a red slash through it) and "Williams" in the circle.

I doubt Williams will be among my favorite writers, but I was pleasantly surprised that I did like The Greater Trumps. I'm not much of a C.S. Lewis fan, so I was afraid I wouldn't like Williams either. So far, so good.
