Excitement and frustration

I'm very excited to be going off to TNEO later today. I've got all my crits done except for two novel synopses that I've read and jotted a few notes on but haven't gotten to the written critiques yet. I also still need some more work on my lecture, but as evidenced by how long I was able to blather about the book to my husband, I think I have

First, have a great trip. I can't wait to hear all about it! I wish I could be there. :)

Second, I'm very interested in your tale concerning Northwest. I had a rather similar experience when I was flying out of Pittsburgh in June, if you're interested, I blogged about the whole thing here.

Thanks, it actually worked out fine (except for the large guy in the seat next to me who fell asleep leaning in my direction and my passive-aggressive loud page turning of my magazine did nothing to wake him up . . .).

The good news is, I survived and on the flight coming home (a later flight, the earlier one was canceled but this time I didn't mind because I got to sleep . . .) I got an exit row seat with extra leg room! TNEO was great, hope to see you there in a future year.
