I tend to be a pretty oblivious person in general. I forget shit 2 minutes after you've said it, I'm covered in bruises because I just don't see obstacles in my path until I've run into them, I'm just an all-round with it kind of person, you know? So it wasn't until today that I noticed my neighbours still have all their Christmas decorations up ( Read more... )

Awww my sweetie!!! :( I know there's jack shit I can do for you right now except maybe some interpretive dance. But I'll totally do it, if that's what makes you happy or at least less pace-y!!

Headfire? Hahahahahahahahahaha! OMG that's adorable!

I love you hard, and I don't know what else to say!

Does that help in the slightest?

It's good news but no, not really. :p If I'm spazzing out I'm not going to let a little thing like logic and reason get in my way... :p

Holy Shit! Does Fratboy know him? That would freak me the fuck out indefinitely. I guess that's not particularly helpful is it?

No, Fratboy's only been on the job 2 weeks. He barely knows all the officers in his own platoon yet, let alone anyone else.

Are there any spouse support group for wives of cops in the Toronto area? I think something like this could really use a support group.

I have always respected cops because in one sense, they have one of the most mundane, ho-hum jobs in the world - 95%+ of the time what they do is routine stuff dealing w/ generally law-abiding citizens.

But the fact that during that 95% of the time they have to stay sharp & be prepared for it to be the other 5% they earn all the respect in the world from me.

Yeah there is a support group but I haven't checked it out yet. I don't tend to get along very well with other 'normal' women. :p

Who knew? But then again, these women may not be normal anymore, and they may have some healthier coping strategies that allow them to actually survive this nightly mental russian roulette you play each time Fratboy walks out the door.

Jeezuz! That's pretty scary stuff.

Is the rip on the seam, or across the fabric? Bring em on over here and I'll scoot them through the sewing machine.
