That was fabulous! I remember so many of those images (especially the good ship Dandelion) from way back when :)

Ah, Cosmos. One of the main reasons that those my age were inspired to pursue doctorates in Physics (including myself).

My favorite scene from Cosmos is shortly after the, "Apple Pie from Scratch," one, in which Carl Sagan terrorizes Cambridge with an impossibly large number(!).

(That same scene was almost certainly seen by the founders of a certain well-known web company, and almost certainly where they got the name for their company from.)

That was wonderful, but I never noticed before how much Carl Sagan sounded like Kermit the Frog!
