Thank you neroli! I had a mysterious package waiting for me when I got home today. That was really so, so kind and generous of you to help me with this birthday gift for a child you don't even know. The book is beautiful and so shiny and new and I want so much to keep it for myself!!!

What's funny, and that I didn't remember about this book, is that the cover title is The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes, and then below in smaller print, as told to Jenifer. Spelled like that, with one N. hahaha!

Random: A quick search after reading about Jennifer's Walk revealed crazy results! I can't believe how expensive that book is. Well, I guess now if you ever get into a bind you know you can always sell that book. (Not that you ever would I'm sure!)

Unfortunately my copy isn't in great shape, so it wouldn't be one of the high sellers. It's lovingly decorated with my own "Property of Jennifer" stickers on the cover, frayed at the edges, and the binding is pretty loose (I wonder if that could be repaired a bit). Not that I want to sell it.

But I know! I was surprised it's worth so much too. I guess once the Jennifers got older than the reading-level of the book it stopped selling as much and went out of print. It's really a neat book though!
