Earlier today, I signed a contract with Dark Quest Books to work for them as a copyeditor. Prior to that, I received mutter-mutter-mumble written by mumble-mutter mumble-mutter (can you tell there is a non-disclosure clause in the contract?) to edit as my first assignment.

Sent Gunshy back to srm at zero dark hundred this morning, after a final pass-through. It's a heck of a good read, though the mystery elements are somewhat secondary--the characters are the primary focus. Hard to see this as a fault, as it leaves you looking for more when the book ends ( Read more... )
