Star Wars book rant

I’m in the process of listing my “books read in 2011” thingy, and while typing up all the different Star Wars titles, I realized that I have never posted the corresponding rant... oops! Rectifying that now, here we go.

I love reading Star Wars EU books. I fell out of the 'verse for a bit, but I'm back, I think. I watched all six movies again and

I honestly stopped reading the books. Not just those, but all of them. And after reading this? I'm kinda glad I did stop reading them. I think that would have annoyed me to no end.

I used to buy every EU book I could get my hand on, luckily I never bought any of her other books. Now I'm very careful and read reviews... I'm way too fascinated by it to stop completely, but I'm also way more picky now. Some of the older books are very cringeworthy upon re-reading...

I'll keep that in mind if I go back and read some stuff. I've found myself moving out of reading that lately. And I've been getting rid of (well weeding out) a lot of my older books. Just don't have the space, etc to keep them anymore.

Plus I lost probably a grand or three of books in two floods in the last three years.
