how I spent my day off
So this coming Saturday is Graduation for my school....which, by the twisted logic of Japanese education, meant that I had today off. I went out Rt. 218 towards Takachiho, taking pictures of rivers and mountains for use in matte paintings

My eyes have a little trouble with the path on the foreground mountain, where the path goes behind its mountain....it feels to me like there should be something at that final turn.
On the other hand, I realize that it might be really hard to put something like trees there, and paths do turn....its just the top edge of the path before it scoots around the mountain seems really sharp. Maybe its because the path is sharp in focus and the mountains way in the background seem a little fuzzy.... *shrug*
I like the pic tho, you just seem to be fishing for what it says to our eyes and what they pick out as slightly off or something - and I would hate to disappoint. :)
