There was no getting rid of the bastard. Claire and the circumstances surrounding their situation had made that quite clear. So Nathan had found the most intelligent option to be simply not being around him. And for all this time, it'd worked quite nicely.
As per usual, Sylar had to take a good streak and set it ablaze. "I seem to remember both of our lives running a lot more smoothly when we didn't speak." Not sniping now, but irritable, and that was more acceptable. He wasn't supposed to like this situation. In fact, he was suppose to loathe it.
As far as Nathan was concerned, he was just behaving true to form.
