She's 25 years old, looking at her last days, and smiling. This blows my mind.

The power of people never ceases to amaze me, you know it? I've never met her face-to-face, yet she's managed to influence and touch and inspire me enough that I am wrecked

How and when did you and she meet?

About... a year and a half, two years ago. I was looking here on LJ for people that had an organ transplant or knew somebody who did, and she was one of the first names that crossed the suggestion list.

She is wonderful, isn't she? I'll keep hoping for a Blue-Eyed Miracle, but if she's ready, then I'll get myself ready.
