Went to get my second cup of coffee, looked out my kitchen window at my 'back yard' (to me, a back yard includes a fence, and we don't have one...) and saw two yellow tabbies. I thought about turning to Mr. Man Kitty to ask if they were his friends

I like the right kind of cat. Mister is pretty cool - kind of like a dog in some respects. And I've had cats that I have great affection for.

It's just the aloof, kitchen counter crawlers that need reformed.

Yup. In varying coloration, too, so you can tell them apart. I haven't thought to name them yet.

They were chasing one another when I left the house, paused when I told them to "get along", and went back to their pursuit.
