They look like this! So the external keyboard is actually a part of the case? I mean I still don't think it's even possible to type as fast on a touchscreen keyboard as I could on my blackberry but I'm definitely better than I was?? DO I NEED THE ABILITY TO TYPE LONG EMAILS AT MY WHIM LIKE I USED TO BE ABLE TO?? Or should I just appreciate how skinny my phone is and get a case that's all about THAT. DILEMMAS.

IPHONE CASE DILEMMA! I go caseless because I enjoy walking on the wild side. [I've smashed two phones. I never said it was a good strategy.] I have an Otterbox for when I'm feeling cautious, though, and really haven't seen anything better in terms of damage prevention. IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I COULD DROP THE PHONE OFF A BUILDING.

Re: Keyboard cases, THAT SEEMS INSANE TO ME!!!!!!! Going back to a physical keyboard would drive me up the wall, I guess it really just depends on what you're used to.

Ugh I like physical keyboards SO MUCH MORE, that's honestly why I've avoided getting an iphone (even though everything else is SO MUCH BETTER)?? Because every so often you need to type up a 600 word email on your phone and even though I'm a lot better at tying on this phone than I was a week and a half ago I still think I would perish if I tried that. I do think it's a matter of what you're used to (I mean in 2004 we all fairly efficient at texting on KEYPADS and now if I tried to do that I'd get like 10 wpm) but... I ALSO KIND OF JUST THINK MY OLD KEYBOARD WAS JUST BETTER??? My sister was always shocked by how fast I could text, and if I can impress someone with an iphone who is also enrolled in middle school, the land of texting...

I've been on iPhones for just under four years now, so between having the muscle memory DOWN and autocorrect understanding me even when I'm fucking up, I have zero problem typing long things on my phone - emails, LJ posts, insanely long letters to myself - at least none related to the keyboard, anyway, since some things I just need a full-sized screen to write properly because I need to be able to look at a full page at once. Speed's not an issue, really! It's obvs not as fast as on a computer, but I did a couple of typing speed tests earlier today and averaged out to around 60wpm [with landscape screen duh, PORTRAIT IS A WHOLE OTHER STORY].

ANYWAY THE ACTUAL HOLIDAY LOVE MEME GOT POSTED LIKE TWENTY MINUTES AGO??????????????? AND I CAN'T STOP CRINGING BECAUSE NOBODY IS COMMENTING AND I FEEL SO BAD FOR ASSUMING SHE WOULDN'T DO IT THIS YEAR BUT ALSO ALL THE POSTS WERE LOCKED AND IT JUST SEEMED LIKE A MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!!!
