I'm a total mess over exams. I don't really no how to describe it. I am feeling very fatalistic, like I can't possible learn everything I need to know for all three of my exams in enough time. I love/hate when you look at the past exam papers and notice, "wow, all the essay questions are the same" because it causes you to have to do strategic revising. You revise for the probability of certain question appearing rather than on everything. It's a gamble but it's great when it works. I've made up a study schedule that goes until Tuesday. It has me revising pretty much constently for the next few days but I hope that it will give me atleast some structure and motivation to get it all done. I've also consolidated my notes and I need to go through and figure out what I'm missing and so forth. So off to the library for me.

And I'm done. I wrote an astounding 1,600 words in about three hours. Twice as much as I managed in all of yesterday. It's a great relief to finally have it done.

Now I'm going to take a little break, make a revision schedule and start revising.

2098 and pressing on. Just 400 more words, I can do this!

So I just wrote 500 words in the last hour. This bodes well.

I'm working really hard on my report for Survey, it's the only mark for the entire course and I sort of want to make up (to myself) for the badly written seal report I did last month. The only problem is that its wednesday night, I'm 900 words into 2,500 and this thing is dragging itsself out to no end. This would be fine except that I have my ( Read more... )

It didn't work.

I'll just have to suck it up and write it on the day. Hate hate hate having to do this but I only have myself to blame.

I'm currently fear mongering. Trying to get up the fear to get the lab report due tomorrow just the fuck done. I spent two hours in the lab this afternoon and managed to write a grand total of one sentence. I hope I have worked up the panic I need to finish the stupid thing.
