It's that time again-- the time when I have to give my in-laws suggestions of things to buy my child. I'm tired of a) toys that make noise b) toys that have no purpose and c) toys that are just generally annoying. So, I come to you for suggestions!

From my pre-k days: Baby Beethoven (dvd), Little Einsteins (dvd), Gazillion Bubbles, a water/sand/sugar/rice/sensory table.

Check out this site. I know the woman who runs it and she's really nice.

I have been drooling over This for awhile.

I think these crayons are also cool.

And at magiccabin.com, another rockin' toy site, they have awesome waldorf dolls,

really adorable mini fairies

cool playstilks

Haba blocks are another great choice Very groovy and educational!

Eloise has a wooden play kitchen with various food that she uses a lot. Ooh, and my parents gave her a big set of classic wooden blocks for Christmas, and she really likes those.
