Ah, great post! No time for a longer reply as it deserves! But such a lot of good feelings in this chapter, seeing more than half of the crew together at the Sunny, Zoro and Sanji (and Zoro's hilarious "#7 vs #1" deal), Moustache-Luffy, and the Return of Franky's Hair! (Sort of. I was a little disappointed that Franky goes back to the buzz cut after his demonstration. All the Chopper-Nami-Usopp-Franky interaction was so fun.
About Luffy: don't forget he's managed to realise that Hancock wants to marry him;and is being much more restrained, following the advice to keep a low profile so far. I think he's quite a bit smarter now. Or, at least, wiser.
But since Chopper's still as gullible as ever and even Usopp first reacted with startled incomprehension at first view of the fake Strawhats ("SOGEKING??! LUFFY???!?"), it would have felt odd to me if Luffy had grown a lot more mature in comparison. In that way, I was reassured by this chapter. (Of course, Oda didn't have to make Chopper quite that credulous, but since he did...)
Yay picspam post! (Although seeing the translations makes my head hurt. They're not... perfect. -___-)
I love that Chopper's reindeer form has grown up! His tiny hybrid form hasn't changed at all, but it's good to know that he is growing up after all. ♥ Poor little thing, but he got a hug from real!Nami, so it's all OK! And I love how Nami is all yeah, as if the real Robin would get caught by something like that. XD
And as a contrast to Chopper and Usopp's reactions to Franky, Nami and Robin both go "..." XDD
I should have known that Luffy would fall for the fakes as well. I mean, he would probably figure it out as well when they start doing things that are blatantly out of character, but... yeah. Now I'm really curious about his reaction to fake!Luffy!
Also, Sanji and Zoro, never grow up.
Brook is made of awesome and win and that scene made me cheer like one of his fans! \o/
Oh my god... I havent been able to catch up to One Piece in over four or more years now. The last book I read they just left Rogue Town. How... how much did I miss exactly?
