So, I return from my trek to see Star Trek. This movie was fantastic! I watched a little of the original series as a kid but I am by no means a trekkie, still this movie has made one out of me! I honestly feel like telling everyone I met to “live long and prosper.” If I could only do the hand thing.

Well, I have to say I was glad Pavel was made 17! He was supposed to be the youngest. He was brought into the original series to be the teen magnet. So with the other characters made young, he was destined to be made the youngest! LOL And his portrayer was in the new Terminator movie too.

Red Matter was "Ahhh!" I would have agreed with the hands if wasn't for the brilliance of Karl Urban's Bones. He was awesome, one of my favorite parts of the movie was Dr. McCoy. He rocked! Though, I so much also have to say Spock telling off those Bigot Vulcan was also awesome.

The bromance with Kirk and Bones and Kirk and Spock were good and awesome in totally different ways. At the moment I am swaying just a bit more on the Bones and Kirk side. Double the Spock is always fun. And yes of course Spock was all emotional. I want to see more of Kirk and that Orion chick. My boyfriend and I were talking and were like that triangle shouldn't be focused on too much since Spock and Uhura (which is just weird, but kinda cool) actually seem in love. Let Kirk be the man tart he is instead. LOL

hahaha I agree! I did cring at the thought of a love triangle but it really didn't come about. He kind of just hit on every girl -laughs- Spock and Urhura was unexpected but it worked out well!

Yeees! I saw it yesterday too, and I loved it to pieces! So much fangirl potential! And I totally wanted to tell people to "live long and prosper." I never saw myself as a Trekkie, but after this I might have to reconsider. *lol*
