Okay not bashing here, but I think the fact that Zac was at the Oscars/performing with V reminded everyone that he was the kid from HSM. I'd like to see him do some events by himself because it seems like when he takes V it turns into the Zanessa media circus and then it takes the focus off him and his career.

Props for him/them for interviewing seperately though. I was just disappointed we only got one question about his upcoming projects. Though it is the Oscars and you take someone so blah. idk, rambling. lol.

Yeah, I don't think they asked many people about upcoming projects so I wasn't too upset cause it wasn't abnormal, but it would have been nice to get some plugs in and he missed a perfect opportunity in one of the videos once too.

I think that to be able to perform was an amazing experience, but if they were to have done hsm stuff, i wish that it could have been more involved... you know, showed off the choreography and stuff, to validate their presence more.

TBH, I really wish fate/timing would have made it possible to have something from Footloose ready for this. That would have been a more interesting medley... you know of upcoming musicals, not just old ones.

And I do worry a lot because it feels like it is becoming too Zanessa in the media right now and not enough Zac and Vanessa separately. I don't know/care what it means to her career, but I do think, to paraphrase what he has said many times, it distracts from his career.

Shockingly, lol, I wish they had done something from HSM3 too. CIHTD was really amazing in terms of choreography and I think would have showcased Zac's abilities way more then the medley they came up with did. Because it just seemed so random that they were there and I felt some secondhand embarrassment for Zac because like the E! presenters were all like, "What the heck are they doing here?" during the preshow and I'm sure there were some of those same opinions held by the other actors and actresses as well. Now we know Zac deserved to be there because he's amazing lol, but I wish a better job had been done of showcasing that ( ... )
