The thing with his mother reminded me of Psycho. Must've been a hell of a thing to wake up to for Micah.

I was hoping Sylar would stab Danko after he pulled the knife out of his head, but no such luck. (I was also thinking that Sylar wasn't dead because it wasn't a silver knife. Duh, you need silver to kill a shapeshifter!)

Poor Micah. And aferward he still tried to talk to Sylar as if he were even slightly sane.

You definitely nailed it about the silver knife. I was wondering how he lived...I just wrote it off as Danko must have missed the mythical sweet spot. Silver knife idea is much better.

I've always been somewhat skeptical about he "sweet spot" to begin with. Has i ever actually worked permanantly? The characters all talk about it like it's an established fact, but has any healer ever been killed like that?

Great Review. And about Sylar all I can say is this episodes seems to be gearing him towards his Claire epiphany which looks like its going to be hilarious. And the said the Hero dying was on the first episode; so... I think its going to be Angela. Especially after Sylar says "Claire is going to be so mad at me." Which was just wicked funny. I like Sylar can't help it I enjoy his brand of crazy. And I'm with you with the whole clothes things but if memory serves he has touched everyone he's shaped shifted into even Mrs.Bennett he shuck her hand. Hey maybe he got a power that let's him make everybody think he's wearing different clothes...?

A clothing-transformation power! Best idea ever. I bet Danko was almost ready to let that one go, but Sylar insisted they hunt it down. He's a big fan of fashion. Watches Projec Runway all the time. ::nods::

Ooh! Good analogy. Sylar/Mom were very much like Gollum. The personality split even had a similar origin...the trauma of killing someone they cared about.

Who is Sylar's Frodo? Danko? Half of him wants to work with Danko and the other half hates him.

In a LotR analogy, I'd pick Danko to be Sam, what with all the paranoia he slings around. I think our Frodo-character is Noah... he's so very, very good at looking distressed and conflicted. ;)

I, too, was confused about Sylar, but I'm over him. This episode had enjoyable and scary moments. I don't think it was specifically stated that he needs to come in physical contact with person to imitate them, just their dna. Ew. But you know, Mystique from the X-Men could always change her clothes too.

Good point about Mystique. Maybe it jus works better in comic books...when you don't have to see the inexplicable change happening. And in the movie-verse, of course, they made it so that she was naked all the time and the clothes were always a part of her.

Good catch! Maybe she was always naked in the comics and we never knew...

And maybe Sylar is actually naked all the time now! There's a decent explanation. As long as we never see him remove and discard clothing, I can believe that it is just an extension of his skin!

Mika - that was kind of weird. Did he really believe in what he was saying? Sylar IS a better Nathan Petrelli. Let him be. But conversation with mommy - that was creepy. Let him kill Danko ASAP. Matt Parkman - how quickly he has forgotten Dafney, that is amazing, it is as if she never existed.

Micah must believe it...he hasn't really ineracted with Sylar before...he shouldn't know what butons to push.

I had the same thoughts about Matt. Daphne - who he loved sooooo much - died, like, a week ago and now he's ready to start a new life with his ex-wife? Frailty, thy name is Parkman.
