Lolita shops in Nagoya and Ikebukuro?

One of my closest friends is interning in Japan right now, and she's going Christmas shopping, so she's asking me what stores she should visit on my behalf. I know jack-all about the area, but the idea of her visiting a closet child or any other second-hand stores in those areas would be nice. I know there's a bunch of shops in Shinjuku, but I have ( Read more... )

Off the top of my head, Ikebukuro has Closet Child, and Nagoya has Baby, AP, IW, Meta DERP SORRY I CAN'T READ another Closet Child, and Violet Blue (a secondhand shop).

Is there any reason why you're looking at Nagoya and Ikebukuro specifically? Depending on which one's closer to your friend, she'd probably have an easier time shopping in either Nagoya or Shinjuku proper.

They're the places she mentioned specifically. I think it has to do with where she's working, plus her work schedule. She mentioned that, unless it was in Shinjuku, she wouldn't have the space in her schedule to make it to Tokyo proper until February.

There is 2 second hand stores that had lolita that i found. Both are in a place called osu which is within walking distance of sakae and has a subway stop. One was violet blue (which has a rakuten store) and a vintage clothing store in the same area opposite the game centres.

hope this helps :)

Though not lolita related per see, Sunshine Prince mall in Ikebukuro has a very nice Axes Femme outlet. I always go there when I visit Tokyo and many of their blouses and accessories are loliable, and their prices decent.

ok. in case you didn't know, nagoya is a city quite far from tokyo. ikebukuro is a ward in tokyo. shinjuku and harajuku (other wards) are quite close to ikebukuro; a few subway stops away. as for the tokyo closet childs, the harajuku one is closest to its respective train station, but is also right on takeshita dori (the main shopping street in harajuku) so that might be too busy for her (or it could be perfect for christmas shopping)

the shinjuku and ikebukuro closet childs are a bit of a walk from the stations. ikebukuro's is my favourite because it always seems to have stock i like, it's large, and it's quieter.
