These photos are a bit small...Also they seem a bit baggy specifically at the bottom. A lot of ouji pants tend to have a cuff at the bottom that is tighter around the leg, or atleast a cuff in general. Then, they may be too big on you, but the photo is too small to tell.
I was looking to make a straight leg pair of pants because I already have a pair which tighten around the leg and was looking for a bit more diversity. Are you saying that I shouldn't have straight legged trousers or just that I should add a cuff to them?? (I'll try sort out the photos! ^^)
I guess I'm just saying they look a bit too plain for ouji as is but I personally think even with out being gathered or tighter around the bottom a decorative cuff with perhaps some buttons, as mentioned by the poster below me, would look nice and make them a bit classier! Hope that helped and sorry if I was being too vague.
No that's just what I'm looking for! I agree they're too plain! The people commenting (including you) are giving me plenty of ideas to toss to make these a pair of pants worth owning! ^^
You should take a look at what various lolita brands have done with boystyle clothing. Your pieces aren't kodona in and of themselves, though you might be able to modify the shorts to fit that look. Here are some knee-length pants from Alice and the Pirates: http://lolibrary.org/node/13224 http://lolibrary.org/node/2975 http://lolibrary.org/node/9808 http://lolibrary.org/node/12402 Atelier Boz: http://lolibrary.org/node/5458 http://lolibrary.org/node/5455 Innocent World: http://lolibrary.org/node/10536 http://lolibrary.org/node/11862You'll see a lot of details that take them beyond plain knee-length pants. They often have cuffs and may be gathered at the bottom. They often have decorative buttons and some small cotton lace around the cuffs or pockets. Brand pants sometimes have a high waistband with lacing in the back, sometimes they have belt loops, sometimes they have suspenders. Atelier Boz often makes pants that come with a detachable part, like a half-skirt or a swallowtail piece. Just like lolita, the boystyle version

I totally agree what I posted is not Kodona! I have nicer blouses and waistcoats and the such but this post is purely about how to make the pants more Kodona appropriate! ^^ But thank you for those links! There are some details which I will definitely try to incorporate into my pants! ^^
