first attempt
As a trial I used a square of woven wool for the background that I didn't like the colors of anyway. I don't know many embroidery stitches yet, though I did watch a you-tube that showed 10 beginners stitches. Enough to get started - to see if I would actually like embroidery - all the fussiness of it. I do like it. And I'm sure I can do better.

22 Are you a “peeker” about gifts, or do you prefer to be surprised?
I guess I prefer to be surprised - that's the way you are supposed to play the game. My one memory about peeking: I was maybe 9 or 10? I wanted an Visible Woman so badly.
