I got a few things done yesterday. Made out checks to charities. Wove some triangles. Jogged on the trampoline. I watched The Banshees of Inisherin in the evening. It was really good and so perfect (for me). Sheesh! Interesting, albeit disurbing, peek into that mindset. As disturbing as the whole experience must've been, i'm glad you eere able to come away with a new perspective on the paxt...

It took a while to finally accept that this person who was once a good friend didn't want to be friends anymore. But I think I grew from the experience too, became more centered, so there is that.

The rejection was 35 years ago now so I've thankfully recovered. But it was disturbing when it happened.

Yup, keeping busy is a good thing.

I LOVED "The Banshees of Inisherin", too! I still blame myself for the similar situation that happened in my own life, but it is a reminder that hanging onto grievances can corrupt the soul. :-)

I hope that you can let go of that old relationship too someday. It's hard being rejected! Hard not to take it personally. But sometimes it's more about defects in that other person than defects in us.

Didn't end up going to town yesterday. Maybe today I'll get that salad!
