I had to get out of the house early this morning to drive Sebastian to work so I didn't have time to write. I took these pictures of the peony tree out front before I left though. We had rain last night and the buds were nicely sprinkled with raindrops.

I hope that Japanese Knotweed isn't anywhere near your home or yard!
It's really hard to get rid of once it gets a start somewhere.

Japanese Knotweed is serious bad news to the area you're in.The only plant worse is Giant Hogweed (which is worse because it's so d@mned poisonous).
