Yesterday I finished crocheting edges on all the pin loom squares I made for Candy's lap robe - 64 in all. Laid them out so I could organize them for the next step - sewing them together.
Yikes! The picture in the snow is impressive, so I can just imagine how awful those flames in the kitchen must have been. I’m glad Dave didn’t get burned.
I'm glad Dave didn't get burned! 8^o I'm with you on preferring gas stoves! ---- You and I are in the same boat when it comes to electricity. My Hubby is an electrician (amongst many other things) who impressed the heck out of my father once by repairing our broken telephone (the old wall-mounted sort). Back when we first met, he was working as a maintenance man in a food factory (he repaired machinery as well as worked with high voltage power lines). Not long thereafter, he decided to go back to school and he got his post hole digger. He's been a teacher ever since. One of his favorite classes to teach, he starts out by showing his class a chunk of rock and a computer chip and then he tells them 'we're going to learn how we go from one to the other.' Although I love my uber-geek Hubby, I feel like such an idiot compared to him. {{{Sigh.}}} :^)

That helps with visualization but I can't say I "understand" it. :-)
