Dave wanted to plant some grass seed at a property on Beaver Creek so we took the dogs and hiked down to the creek.

I don't know if it was a native grass. He had gotten rid of some invasive plants (mulitfloral rose) and I think he was planting the grass so it would have a harder time coming back.

It did turn out nice.

It felt so good and cooling. Plus my feet were dirty from the walk there... :-)

We are lucky in that we do have water, hills, lots of trees and plants here - and don't forget rocks!
