Hasn't really cared for a long time now, not since he returned for the final time, with the conclusive knowledge that his importance would always be fleeting, replaceable. It's a good lesson, probably, one that many more people could do to learn, but Edmund wishes his lesson hadn't had to be so hard or so bitter.

It's also, he thinks, probably not the lesson Aslan intended him to learn.

No, it's DEFINITELY not.

The first one, the cuddly one... perhaps could do with more situational grounding. I couldn't figure out if it was VOTD or post-LB, and then upon deciding on VOTD, was left wondering where, exactly, on the ship they had found private snuggly time...

The second one... could have been all wanky angst, but isn't. I am unsure why this is, but I think it's that I like the way you've tied in the description of the scenery... *frowns* anyway. Is good! Promise!

The first one, I'm not really all that sure when it's set. It just sort of came out when I was drunk and missing Trojie.

Okay, that sounds weird. Just blame it on the drunk. It's probably meant to be VOTD. The second one's giving me ideas for more Edmund-in-England. Although we might have exhausted all that in the last one. Though that was in school... Hmmm. I shall ponder, and prod Trojie.
