If Walter were merely a normal human, he would have been stopped already. Knowing that fact only, we can assume that his chip was removed ( Read more... )

Who is to say that it cannot be replaced? Has such an effort ever been attempted?

Well, it's not like y'all can catch the guy since he's gorram undead and can heal himself.

I heard he found the chip by himself, no problemo and ripped it right out.

Some attempt at restraining him should still be made.

Well, I s'pose if you can find a way to keep him from taking it out, that would be quite a plan.

Now's not the time to be pointing fingers and casting blame.

If at that moment of vulnerability he could be completely restrained, he wouldn't be able to take out the chip.

I did note that it is something that should be discussed after Walter is reasonably contained.

To replace his chip...? How will this happen? Is there even another chip to put back?

It's a theory, nothing more. If we could get a chip that has been recently removed, there is a slight possibility that it could be replaced.

It is by no means a flawless theory.

Kadaj's suggestion gave me an idea.

Lure him into a group of those little bugs. The Heartless. But.. There's no guarantee that'd work either. Maybe I could go after his mind. Give someone enough time to capture him while he has to deal with my mental attack.

That sounds reasonable, but there are far too many uncontrollable variables.

The mental attack theory sounds reasonable; perhaps you should go help Sokka with his plan? It seems like they intend to go through with their plans tonight-- if not sometime within the next twenty our hours.

Put his chip back in? But he could still use weapons, right...?

[Pearl's understanding of the post: Walter uses superpowers to kill.]

For reasons unknown to me, we are unable to restrain him. He also knows the location of the chip has his chip removed, so we can only assume that some ability that he has is the reason he hasn't been stopped, despite whatever means he uses to kill others.

...Are you somewhere safe, Pearl?

Oh! So if we put it back in he can be stopped? And his guilt will go back to him?

I'm safe! I'm with--

...We hope so, anyways. Either way, there has to be a way to stop--
