What's your best advice for fishing out the drawstring of some sweatpants that's gotten pulled into the "tunnel"?  The drawstring is satin and the pants fabric is polarfleece.  Very annoying.  It's a long way over now . . . maybe halfway, though hard to tell.

The only way I've ever managed is just keep scrunching up the fabric until you force the end of the drawstring to the hole, but I've never tried it with a slippery string like satin. Eek. I hate it when that happens, though. I have a comfy set of PJs where the shorts got ruined because the drawstring just kept slipping (and eventually pulled out entirely and I gave up.)

Can you pull it out the rest of the way? If so, pull it completely out, put a big old safety pin through one end of the drawstring, and feed that through (you'll be able to feel the safety pin through the fabric, to scrunch it through the casing): http://www.wikihow.com/Insert-a-Drawstring
