yes! i've always felt that the recognition/diagnosis of autistic spectrum stuff (leaving out here whether the resognition/diagnosis of it is a good thing or not a good thing) is compeltely based on how it might present/manifest in male persons... and there's lots of other stuff here about simon baron-cohen's 'essential difference' and 'male brain' stuff that comes in (for dispute) too...
