January Green Step

Our January green step is to try to eliminate high fructose corn syrup from our diet. We try to avoid regular corn syrup when possible, but are focusing on the high fructose kind. This has turned out to be easier than I thought, so I guess we have already been heading that direction. Eldred has to give up his Banana-Strawberry Yoplait. I found ( Read more... )

Stonyfield Farm's yogurt is my favorite. I don't know if they have Banana-Strawberry though. I usually buy French Vanilla (fat free) in a large container, though I have recently taken to buying the small individual containers of various flavors (I tend to waste a lot of yogurt from the large one).

I like Stonyfield too. I didn't find a Strawberry-Banana though. I usually get the plain and mix in fresh blueberries or raspberries.

Mmm, yes that is what I did the the first time I ever got Stonyfield - I treated myself to fresh blueberries from Wholefoods to go with it. So delicious!

Just remember that I didn't like the Dannon. It was the yogurt equivalent of Tab. Bleh.

I don't like Stonyfield. There's something about the aftertaste.

I eat the Yoplait light. Dunno if being sugar-free means there's no HFCS, but...

The light probably has an artificial sweetner that Eldred won't eat. :-)
